Rambler Radio thanks Cason McClain over at WKTO (88.9 FM) in New Smyrna for having us on SupperTime Gospel this evening. What a great time we had! Cason shares our love for Gospel music and we learned this evening that he’s a long time Gospel Music promoter. We all had a lot to talk about and when we weren’t talking about the local groups we love, we were talking strategy while the songs played. Folks, we’ve just got to get the word out. There are so many good Gospel groups here in the area and if you’re not there to hear their music and their ministry in song, well, you’re missing out on one of God’s greatest blessings. When I was growing up in North Carolina, at my grandparents house just outside Elizabeth City, our little Pentecostal Holiness Church rang with songs of praise every time the doors were open. When the summer was over and we kids headed back home to start school, I was always bothered that the local church we attended seemed so stern, so quiet. There was no joyous singing, no shouts of praise or even quiet up-lifted hands during prayer (and yeah, I peeked.) If you’ve been longing to hear Gospel music in your church, get in touch with us or with Cason McClain and we can probably put you in touch with some wonderful singers who would be honored to bring their music ministry to you and yours. Gospel music presented live by Christians using the talents God gave them to further his work, to bring his message of hope and salvation. Just imagine sitting in church, letting the message in the music wash over you.
